Visa Crypto

Visa Global Design asked me to build its first crypto design team. The objective was to bring crypto out of the shadows, to make it more trustworthy and accessible for everyday consumers to pay and be paid.

After hiring three designer/crypto zealots, I led our team as a player/coach to co-create concepts with Visa Crypto Labs Product team.

Over three years we designed and prototyped more than a dozen innovative crypto payment payment flows, features, products and platforms, including non-custodial wallets, stablecoin use cases, a risk management tool and new uses for popular blockchains.

We balanced innovation with security, regulatory, and user-trust constraints and tested our concepts extensively with every day users.
